Details: Our client, a national financial leader, is looking for a Project Manager. In this role, you will create and maintain detailed plans to manage the business change management aspects of a project, including advisor communications, marketing, training plans and the associated approval processes.

MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • PM experience
  • Financial industry business knowledge and understanding
  • Experience understanding complex project objectives and connecting dots across the broader program
  • Expertise with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Skype for Business

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Financial institution specific change management experience in the advice and wealth management/brokerage product area
  • Ability to jump into an in-flight project, understand processes and drive results quickly
  • Experience in several successful change management/project management roles
  • Experience with advisor change management
  • Experience with advisor communication and training
  • Knowledge of managed accounts and product fees within the financial industry
  • Flexible with the ability to deal with ambiguity and manage challenging situations effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with business partners at all levels
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to capture detailed meeting notes including action items, risks and issues and updates to the plan
  • Ability to meet with business partners independently, understand their deliverables and processes and convert discussion into tasks in the plan

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and maintain detailed plans to manage the business change management aspects of a project, including advisor communications, marketing, training plans and the associated approval processes.
  • Coordinate numerous meetings including managing agendas, attendees, meeting notes, action items and logistics.
  • Create and maintain various trackers/charts to manage project details (advisor impacts, action items, issues, risks) including following up to ensure closure.
  • Manage presentation schedule for project senior leaders (confirm presenters, materials and logistics).
  • Create and maintain project milestone documentation in formats requested by senior leaders.
  • Facilitate corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Escalate project concerns to project leadership.
  • Work in partnership with the lead project manager to address project priorities.
