The Location Technologies team develops hardware and software based on GNSS and other related positioning technologies to meet the growing demand for location based services. The location technologies created by the Location Technologies team have been deployed in over 1 billion cellular handsets and mobile devices. In order to keep up with the increasing demand for our products, we are looking for a highly motivated Engineer to help our team release quality products with a short time to market.
Minimum Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience is required. A candidate that has worked in a Software Integration organization for a medium to large company would be ideal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills, an understanding of engineering fundamentals, an ability to program in scripting languages and/or C, a strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional skills and experience in the following areas are a plus: - Perforce or similar SCM tool - Git and/or Android - Perl and/or Python - C or C++ programming - Embedded Software Integration and test experience - GNSS/ other position location technologies, RATs such as CDMA2000, GSM, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA or LTE
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics & Satellites Eng Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics & Satellites Eng or equivalent experience
