Job Description

Process image intensifier tube power supplies through multiple assembly operations which will be determined by work experience. Some tasks will require individual to be multi-disciplined requiring proficient manual dexterity, equipment operation and soldering skills. Self- starting, organized, team player with the ability to work independently, interpret and follow work instructions and make product tracking application operation entries on computer terminals. Familiarity with ESD precautions required and ability to work with chemicals (solvents and potting compounds).
• Must be able to consistently report to work and be on time for scheduled shift
Required Knowledge:

Process components through various assigned power supply assembly operations
•Primarily soldering, inspections and assembly operations using a microscope
•Follow work instructions and make processing entries on computer terminals
•Able to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel
•J-STD soldering skills/certification
•Able to work with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, acetone, potting compounds
•Excellent manual dexterity handling fragile electronic components
•Consistent output, attention to detail and quality of work
•Use of hand tools and equipment such as soldering iron/pot, programming/de-paneling stations and cleaning/test equipment
•Work with minimal supervision individually or in team environment
•Participate in process improvements
•Keep work area safe, orderly and clean
•Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively
•Perform all other power supply processing as assigned

Experience Required:

Greater than 5 years in related manufacturing work experience (soldering, high volume production, inspections, ESD prevention, machine operations, training)
High school diploma
United States citizenship required
Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to job


Must be flexible to program driven overtime and the possibility of temporary staggered shifts if product demand requires.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as necessary; and will be on call as needed.
