The Trainer/Support Specialist will be responsible for training and supporting Operations personnel and end users as part of the HASTUS software implementation for the Workforce Modernization Program. This position will perform the following activities and examples, as well as other related tasks as the needs arise

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of Workforce Modernization Program (WMP) systems, including, but not limited to, the Daily Operations system and Bid system for Bus, Heavy Rail and Light Rail transportation districts in HASTUS software.
Develop and execute training programs for training new and existing WMP software end users.
Support end users on troubleshooting issues.
Act as liaison between areas and project teams to work through issues.
Assist in implementing and supporting future WMP systems, as appropriate.
Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor, or coworker in a professional and courteous manner.
Work any and all shifts and / or locations as assigned or directed.
Uphold the rights and interests of the Authority while building and maintaining effective relationships with employees.
Perform related duties and projects as assigned
Education And/Or Experience
Three (3) years of experience in bus and / or subway transit operations.
Two (2) years of related supervisory experience in bus and / or subway operations.
A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution with the ability to comprehend, communicate and respond to instructions, orders, signs, notices, inquiries, etc. in English.
Excellent organizational, confidentiality, multitasking and time management skills.
Strong computer and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.
Have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
The ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience.
Work any and all shifts and / or locations as assigned or directed.
The ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
