Job Description
 
POSITION OVERVIEW:
 
Performs security system installations. Ensures continuity of job progress and maximizes efficiencies related to the assigned area. Willingness to relocate to installation site locations is expected. Current USACE background check or possession of a Common Access Card (CAC) and Software House installation and maintenance certification desired.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform service/installation of integrated CCTV, ICS and ACS systems.
Familiar with ESS security components from various manufacturers.
Performs computer program entry as required to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
Coordinates with Installation Superintendent for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
Supports the creation of project documentation including drawings, submittals and training materials.
Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety/security concerns.
Candidate must maintain a positive attitude and be willing to learn by hands on training and from our experienced team.
Maintain an established work schedule.
Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment or individually.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.?
 
 
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
 
Valid driver?s license.
Knowledge of the principles of electricity and electronics.
Knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment- including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Experience/Knowledge how to evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot systems and perform repairs as necessary.
Knowledge of the potential occupational hazards connected with electrical work and the safety standards and practices, which should be applied.
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, hydraulic towers, or in tunnels and crawl spaces.
