IA - DOT - PM1 - Project Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination activities for the ERP project and will coordinate and manage efforts between employees working on the project and management and will report to Iowa DOT IT PMO Administrator.

Must have excellent time management, verbal & written communication, and organizational skills.

***Candidates MUST have prior professional experience in a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Management role to be considered for this position. ***

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Organizing meetings, providing agendas and completing minutes
• Updating project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Informing necessary parties of deadlines
• Training new project staff on project processes, (document location, product information, etc.)
• Maintaining the Sharepoint site (project document repository)
• Preparing and delivering communications and communication material
• Communicating with project members to ensure they're aware of any new developments in a project's status
• Ensuring all necessary parties are aware of project deadlines
• Serving as the assistant to the ERP project managers; working closely with them to ensure that project objectives are met.

Any experience using Visual Studio Team Services, working in an Agile environment, working with ERP-related systems/projects, specifically, and/or writing work flow procedures would be highly desirable in this role as well.

Description
