Human Resources Representative

This position will support a broad range of human resource activities including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HR administration and support, record-keeping, assist with employee relations, and HRIS entry. The Human Resources Representative will also act as the Office Manager and will help foster a positive work environment.
• Support HR Manager with administrative functions and meetings, and manage employee flow within the HR department.
• Recruiting support for hourly and salary positions including scheduling interviews, onboarding, new hire Orientation coordination, and collaborate with recruiting coordinator on background check/drug test administration and follow up.
• Collaborate in the development of training programs and track and administer training reports in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create and maintain Human Resources databases and employment files.
• Collaborate in the development of processes for continuous improvement.
• Assist with administering Family Medical Leave documentation and employee benefits open enrollment.
• Develop, plan, and maintain employee social events and functions, including overseeing the Entertainment Committee.
• Coordinate and administer Trip Reduction Program.
• Other HR duties as assigned.
• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
• 3-5 years' experience as a Human Resources Representative or HR Administrator required.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS systems; experience with Taleo and SAP preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Team player with ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of people.
• Knowledge and experience with HR functions and best practices in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
• Experience administering employee benefits programs.
