Marketing Analyst

Scope of Work
Marketing Analyst gathers, documents, and analyzes marketing requirements, conducts marketing analysis, participates in functional application design, creates and analyzes ad-hoc reports and aids in the escalation/resolution of project risks and issues. Bachelors Degree or equivalent required. 1-3 years of related work experience.

Other Skills
The candidate should have analytical experience and a thorough understanding of a subscription based product or service. Analytical exposure with a finance background would be ideal. The candidate¿s strengths need to include identifying and understanding trends in sales production, and the ability to understand and analyze drivers of losing customers. The key in the candidate¿s success is in visually displaying quantitative information to the business in a way that substantiates recommendations and/or demonstrates customer growth. The ability to analyze, critically think and communicate is critical.

Perform analytics around customer acquisition and churn
Extract and utilize data from multiple sources including data warehouse, excel, and third party vendor to develop fact based recommendations.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support for the business team including working cross-functionally with other teams such as Sales, IT and Finance

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or statistics
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
Experience with data analysis and understanding a subscriber based business model

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree
Prior experience building financial or subscriber models
Very strong at Excel (pivot tables with calculated fields, and other analytical tools such as heat mapping)
