The Laborer performs construction work and other tasks as assigned covering many activities of a physical nature.
These include digging, operating and relocating pumps and hoses, operating small hand tools, etc.
Workers should be able to follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
Listening to and understanding direction is key.

Prefer a minimum of two (2) years demonstrated relevant experience as a laborer, described above, capability for fieldwork involving heavy lifting and climbing over rough terrain under various weather conditions.

Special Job Requirements:
• When outside, incumbent may work in seasonal inclement weather and adverse environmental conditions. Must be physically fit and able to lift, move and/or carry up to 50 lbs of field gear and able to perform fieldwork that sometimes involves walking long distances in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• When offered employment in the United States, prospective Parsons temporary employees will be asked to complete a drug screen and background check.
The drug screen is a toxicological test that may include alcohol.
The background check includes: employment and compensation verification, a criminal background check, and verification that educational degrees are conferred from accredited institutions and professional certifications are current.

Proof of identity and legal authorization to work are asked for upon reporting to work.
