Bench Scientist - Vector Biology

Job Description Scientific Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for implementing and optimizing experimental protocols in the areas of molecular biology, cell biology, and virology
  • Previous experience with molecular cloning, RT-PCR, DNA and RNA extraction, analysis of nucleic acid and protein expression, tissue culture, flow citometry and conducting cellular-based assays is highly preferable.

  • Understands function operating procedures and/or internal policies required to maintain quality standards and to protect Client's intellectual property
  • Reviews and/or authors laboratory journals

Preferred requirements:
  • 5 years of work experience with Bachelor's in a Biology-related degree OR 3 year of work experience with Masters of Science in a Biology-related degree
  • Experience working in a lab environment in the areas of molecular biology, virology, and cell biology.
  • Prior experience with RNA viruses is preferred.

Minimum requirements
  • 3 years of work experience with Bachelor's in a Biology-related degree OR 2 year of work experience with Masters of Science in a Biology-related degree
