• Must have a BS degree and 1-3 years of any engineering disciplines. Experience is defined as hands-on-techniques gained in academic or industrial settings.
Skills Description
• CAD experience – especially NX, Solidworks, Autodesk (Fusion 360) and CATIA would be a plus
• 3D Printing Experience & Printer upkeep
• Should have some manual / mechanical skills: e.g. helping to build product prototypes which could include manually modifying existing parts (e.g. via precision cutting of small parts with a scalpel while looking through a microscope), assemble prototypes, ability to sort parts with small feature differences or small lettering -? Just to be clear: the required mechanical skill set is by far not the same level of the one we requested for the part assembler.
• Be able to record and format data in Microsoft Excel
• Mechanical drawing/ print experience
• Ability to learn new software
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English
