Accounting/Admin Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Accounting Assistant/Admin. position provides administrative and financial support to the project/team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with preparation of various schedules/reports
- Analyze accounting data and performs financial reconciliations.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Make copies
- Pull data
- Scan documents
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position.
- Basic PC skills including, but not limited to: MS Windows and MS Word
- Advanced MS Excel skills - REQUIRED (test will be given at interview)
- Must have good communications skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able to follow instructions accurately.
- Research and resolve issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics (NO Foreign degrees allowed - Must be US based school)
- MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years experience with creating spreadsheets, formulas, tables and data entry.
- MUST be able to lift up to 25 lbs (boxes with files).

** Experience with financial reconciliations while working with spreadsheets is REQUIRED

** RECENT COLLEGE GRADS ARE OK as long as they as they meet the REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

** This job is very fast paced, lots of spreadsheet work, must be able to learn quickly and not mind doing administrative tasks as well.
