Inventory Control Specialist
The Field Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring field inventory data, variance analyses, data review and reconciliation and ensuring the administration of Company policies and procedures for field inventory management.
Monitor interface error queues in the field inventory monitoring systems Develop and maintain metrics reporting. Develop and provide set utilization metrics and reporting Monitor and resolve returns and disputes Coordinate inventory adjustments, reserves, and write-off's with Finance and Supply Chain on a monthly basis Collaborate with Field Sales to ensure field inventory policies are enforced; resolve issues related to lost, damaged, or expired field inventory; escalate issues as necessary. Lead strategic analyses to support inventory reduction initiatives Participate in continuous improvement projects Perform inventory audit reconciliations, assist with physical audits and self reported audits May include up to 50% travel to field locations to perform physical audits Cross-train to serve as backup for other field inventory analysts Performs other related duties as assigned Basic requirements BS, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or closely related discipline 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, finance, or sales operations Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel Openness and ability up to 50% travel for field inventory audits Preferred requirements APICS certification a plus Ability to identify issues and develop and implement solutions to meet departmental and Company goals Outside-the-box thinking to develop solutions to problems; ability to present engage leadership Proven ability to organize, analyze and present data and relate findings to business solutions.
