Provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.

Basic job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
• Establishes statistical reliability by using mean time before failure, weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests.
• Develops experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.
• Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.

-Skills used in daily work: Proficiency in VBA for Excel, JavaScript, OracleSQL, VBA for Access
- Ability to develop solutions in other programming languages which is necessary to directly query/access databases hosted by IT.
- Develop code-based tools for my own projects and those of my colleagues in two departments with the help of a deep level of knowledge on the projects gained from my time at BMW thus far. One employee (me) has valuable technical skills which are relevant and necessary across many core projects.


Education - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering a MUST; Masters Degree preferred

Software: MS Access and MS Excel (Heavy macros and spreadsheet)

** This is more of an analyst position and will not be hands on with the cars. Data analysts and reviewing will be their primary role.
