 Job Description:
  • The Recruiting department provides staffing services to client leaders and associates through full lifecycle recruiting and maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large.
  • Delivers high quality professional candidates and advances the client brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the client selection process ensuring hiring the best possible talent.
  • Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components for each vacancy assigned.
  • Develops and implements innovative, competitive, cost-effective recruiting initiatives to attract a diverse, highly talented, and productive workforce.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client leaders, vendors, community organizations, HR disciplines, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, results and credibility.
  • Partner with management to identify and deliver high quality professional candidates.
  • External spokesperson for client to advance the client brand across numerous markets and professional communities.
  • Identify, develop and deploy process improvement, next generation staffing systems, tools, and models for the organization.
  • Provide effective and fast full lifecycle recruitment process both internally and externally in multiple work locations within client's largest and complex business units
  • Liaise with senior customers to understand business plans, workforce planning strategies, search assignments, and assist in the development/maintenance of recruitment plans to support client structures.
  • Work with managers to identify and arrange interview process; establish and implement effective communication strategies to keep both candidates and hiring managers informed.
  • Develop and implement targeted outreach to attract qualified candidates.
  • Execute pre-screening process and create and present interview questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with client and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions and expectation-setting.
  • Conduct final phone or face to face interviews and initiate background screening and reference checking process when selection has been made.
  • Review results with hiring managers.
  • Organize, lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview team and candidates
  • Recommend salaries and extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers, adhering to client's compensation policy.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers, interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts and a pipeline of key talent to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Leverage on-line recruiting resources to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Proactively research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Create and foster relationships with diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit diversity candidates
  • Execute the campus strategy and manage all logistics associated with hosting on-campus recruitment activities at targeted universities to support the client's recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee the summer development internship program including hiring students, coordinating trips and activities to enrich the experience of the students.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Make best use of social media, specialty job boards and advertising, including diversity advertising, to promote the client brand.
  • Exercise high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
 
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to employment and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.
  • Prior experience using a comprehensive Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as MS Office.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders: co-workers, business unit heads, managers, candidates, and vendors.
  • Strong influencing and customer service skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to perform work primarily without direction; to determine objectives and approaches to assignments.
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks with diverse disciplines.
  • Team player Ability to coach managers through the interview process as well as train junior recruiters.
  • Knowledge of marketplace trends and internal hiring processes.
  • The ability to analyze and anticipate problems and come up with creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and results driven work style with ability to communicate and influence effectively with client groups and candidates.
 
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Minimum seven (7) years demonstrated high volume external full cycle technical recruitment from developing requisitions, online database searches, to development of a recruiting strategy and creative recruitment solutions for highly specialized, difficult to fill positions.
