Position Description
The successful candidate must have enterprise experience in all server versions of Microsoft Exchange server, Lync IM w/ Presence, and Active Directory. They must have the ability to learn and implement new technology developments while providing technical leadership within IT in keeping the our financial client Exchange Server Infrastructure at 100% operational and perform effectively.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Exchange Infrastructure
o Lync w/ presence
o Cisco IronPort E-Mail Security Appliances
o Trend Micro ScanMail
o Digital Records Management/Audit Reporting
o Active Directory
o Microsoft DNS
o SCOM Monitoring
o Good Technology mobility platform
o Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM)
• Experience in build and operational support of various NAS/DAS/SAN devices
• Client/Dell/IBM Server Hardware experience
• Experience in defining and implementing Disaster Recovery services
• Infrastructure Provisioning
• Security Standards
• Capacity and Performance monitoring
• As part of the overall Windows hosting team the candidate will also need a working knowledge of...
o VMWare support with vCenter/vSphere
o Microsoft SQL (All Versions)
o Windows Clustering
o Patch Management
o Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2

As part of the overall Windows Hosting team all member must have the following soft skills.
• Ability and desire to work together as large team to perform all centralized Windows functions
• All members of the team will be part of a rotational on call cadence to supply our financial client with 24X7 coverage
• Ability to refine the architecture and workflows to tune to scale based on the enterprise needs.
• Ability to present and advocate enterprise standards, technology standards, environment policies, procedures, strategies and best practices in working with different users, teams and application areas.
• Ability to communicate to and manage a wide user base in providing information, providing education and managing expectations in the process of the overall management of the service.
