Sr. Staff Software Engineers - SW Development

This project is part of an effort to deploy a low-earth satellite-based communication system to provide global internet service. Will be developing software for the network access controller (NAC) and User Terminal (UT) reference platforms. The Air Interface is a custom PHY and MAC layer that is compatible with the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). You will be part of a team that is responsible for developing software for low layer interface with the hardware of the simulation environment. This position requires strong software engineering skills, e.g. requirements discovery, design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Linux kernel device driver (3 years), Linux User Space (2 years), cross compilation, Linux Administration, shell, and Perl.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with board bring-up and low-level debug tools Experience with co-simulation process, and pre-silicon and post-silicon verification techniques. Scripting language experience Strong software engineering skills with experience in integrating wireless systems.
