Supply Chain Consultant IV

Identify operational and supply chain improvement opportunities and formulates solutions to be prioritized by leadership.
- Provide strategic input relative to supply chain impacts at the earliest stages of project planning.
- Maintainys data integrity across all planning systems relative to projects impacting the product portfolio.
- Support optimal customer service performance and inventory management in accordance with Healthcare objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead supply chain improvement initiatives from design through to implementation by coordinating cross-functional implementation teams.
- Develop capability within the staff and plant planning teams through relationship building and collaborative issue resolution.
- Deliver process and system training.
- Provide day to day Key User Trainer (KUT) systems support .
SCOPE
Reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Intelligence and is considered the problem resolution leader within the Healthcare Planning organization. Expected to support multiple projects involving planning support to achieving team objectives. Expected to lead, by influence, supply chain improvement initiatives with cross-functional support.
The incumbent must actively participate in problem solving and process improvement with plants and staff teams. The position also requires leading Planning Project analysts through influence and building talent by sharing best practices and providing focused feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The position requires knowledge and ability associated with a bachelor's degree or equivalent with course work indicating quantitative and analytical ability. In most instances, five years of related business experience is preferred. Ability requirements are to effectively organize, plan, control, and communicate plans to mill and staff units.
Language Required: Fluent in English (Spanish preferred)
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Support tactical and chartered projects across multiple Healthcare categories simultaneously.
2. Identify and solve systemic and complex supply chain issues (e.g., low manufacturing comformance, high supply chain lead times) – Lead a large team/task force for a short to mid-term project to resolve these issues and put in place effective counter measures.
3. Continuously analyze the Health Care planning process – Identify and implement process and tool improvements across multiple Healthcare categories. Work with other Healthcare groups to priortize and drive improvements to capture impact.
4. Support the process of inventory target setting and help drive initiatives which help reduce total working capital.
5. Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based philosophy in the level of service provided.
6. Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement utilizing LEAN concepts, tools, and methodologies to eliminate waste in all we do.
