- Create demos and projects that showcase the latest Client technologies and deliver compelling experiences which inspire the development community to bring new product ideas to market faster - Responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and optimization of applications and projects - Create training, workshops, and documentation (presentations, workshop guides, demo setup and execution notes, hackathon tips, and app notes) - Participate actively in online forums to promote Client technology and products, helping users with tips and tricks as a way to build and engage the community - Provide technical support to BU marketing and management when visiting partners or customers - Available for some travel and staffing for trade shows, workshops, and hackathons - Target development environments include Linux, Android, and Windows embedded systems, often using DragonBoard 410c, mezzanine cards, and sensors to create experiences or projects.
- Creative, self-motivated problem-solver with a passion for working with the latest technologies to create great experiences - Mature interpersonal skills, able to work independently or collaboratively with teams, and resolve problems spanning many disciplines - Able to learn quickly, and take a proactive, hands-on approach to work assignments, application development, and technology demonstrations -Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and speak to both hardware and software components at a high level as well as at a detailed technical level - Comfortable speaking in front of people and likes to write - Excellent technical ability and proven experience in embedded systems and software, with knowledge of Linux and Android environments, and programming / scripting languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java) - Knowledge of USB, UART, I2C, SPI, and GPIO; Prior experience with sensors is a plus (e.g., accelerometer, IMU, temp, etc.) - Hands-on experience with embedded hardware and software debugging using PC software tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. - Experienced with version control systems such as GIT - Basic project management knowledge / planning skills with the ability to deliver high quality work on schedule in a dynamic environment, working on multiple tasks concurrently - Good problem solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and documentation skills, as well as strong creativity and outside of the box thinking
- Knowledge of wireless technology standards, specifically Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b g/n, GPS -Application optimization experience, such as for GPU or DSP, a plus - Familiarity with ARM architecture - Working knowledge of OpenCV, ROS, Perl a plus
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
