Enter charges for physician services rendered.
Ensure all pertinent registration and insurance information is entered.
Post payments received from patients and/or insurance carriers.
Analyze registration data and take appropriate action when discrepancies occur for charge entry and registration edits.
Interpret patient accounts for research.
Make and received telephone calls to patients and/or insurance carriers to ensure accurate information. Receive telephone calls from patients using impressive customer service.
Contact insurance carriers and AEMC departments to aid in rectifying a patient’s account

High school graduate or equivalent required
Experience in all phases of 3rd party physician billing is required. Including but not limited to charge entry, claims processing, payment posting, and the appeal/resubmission process for rejections and follow-up.
IDX/SMS software experience is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills required.
