Local metal finishing company is looking for an experienced forklift and/or towmotor operator. Must be able to pass a forklift test, work 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Friday and have steel toed boots. Dayturn position working 6a-2:30 or 4:30p and paying $10.00/hour. Apply for this position at 4097 Youngstown Rd SE Warren, OH 44484 Monday-Friday from 8:30a-3:00p.

Description:
Keeps production supplied by retrieving materials and supplies; operating a forklift.

Duties:
  1. Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule; scheduling deliveries to production area.
  2. Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallet on truck; moves pallet to production location.
  3. Maintains inventory in production area by anticipating and tracking usage.
  4. Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
  5. Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets.
  6. Documents actions by logging movement of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
  7. Maintains safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  8. Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  9. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  10. Accomplishes warehousing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
