Nesco is looking for an assembler for a manufacturer in Danbury, CT. This is for 1st shift, hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hourly pay up to $15.00/hr depending on experience. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSDUCERS.
 
SUMMARY OF POSITION:       
Assemble essential components for ultrasonic testing equipment.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assemble and test components for UX6 and X-Fire RSU wheels.
  • Assemble cables for transducers.
  • Assemble transducers by soldering and sanding.
  • Assist with the building of transducers for China and other sales orders.
 
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
  
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One to three years previous assembly experience.
  • Skills/Qualifications: Steady eye and hand coordination, ability to work with small and delicate parts.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • Skills/Competencies: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in order to meet deadlines.
