DDescription/Comment:Responsible for the accuracy, coordination and preparation of inventory control through various inventory control systems. As the Inventory Specialist and a member of the Production Team, you are accountable for meeting the department production and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals:

* Use material handling equipment, such as forklifts (sit or stand), scissor lifts, or pallet jacks) in a safe and effective manner. Match purchase orders with packing slips and enter appropriate information regarding stock or materials into the appropriate syste.
* Make physical adjustments in the inventory system based upon cycle count.
* Enter any price changes/corrections when necessary.
* Match receiving information with T-bills and perform month-end closing duties.
* Maintain list of received not yet T-billed and provide to the Accounting Department.
* Responsible for releasing base stock from SRC systems to fill orders.
* Send out obsolete stock notices to sales. * Complete material requisition when received in Inventory Control; forward to staging area for pulling stock. When transaction is complete, verify requisition information and post requisitions as needed to inventory system.
* Transfer material from location to location as required and run reports as needed. * Provide special inventory reports for select customers, maintain receiving logs. * Maintain Pic 'n' Client log routes and orders to warehouse.
* Maintain out-of-stock report and release back orders as stock arrives.
* Maintain Returned Goods Log and provide to Quality Assurance as required.
* Maintain Inventory Control files.
* Pull samples of forms requested by Sales or Plant personnel.
* Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
* Participate as a key player in the company by supporting operations as needed.
* Communicate effectively with the Plant Manager, Client Care Team and Production Team informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that both company and customer objectives are met.
* Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manual. QUALIFICATIONS. 
1-2 years experience in operating equipmen.
* Good data entry, math and basic clerical skills required.
* Must be attentive to detail and able to work with and effectively communicate with a variety of people.
