General Summary
With minimal supervision work as part of a greater team across the entire organization and within Supply Chain & Logistics to participate in cross-division planning, implementation and communication. Act as a key contributor in Supply Chain (SC) to execute corporate wide strategy in partner management, routing methods, Merger & Acquisitions, ERP and process improvements.

Essential Functions
Perform industry, competitor and customer research to identify trends, opportunities and threats.
Analyze performance of Suppy Chain (SC) by preparing reports for SC Leadership on a regular and ad hoc basis.
Conducts distribution and network studies to maximize operational efficiencies and create best in class practices.
Assists in the development of logistics plans for production, distribution and storage of goods.
Participate in interview/research to determine stakeholder business needs and translate into best in class ERP/MRP requirement.
Apply advanced analysis skills in the development of business process models, procedures and systems.
Lead and/or participate on teams to continually look at process improvement strategies for business processes and systems.
Acts as subject matter expert to provide business requirements for process improvements and system enhancements.
Develop presentations of materials, models, findings, plans and/or recommendations.

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
BS in manufacturing, operations, Industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, Business or engineering preferred or equivalent experience. Two or more years experience analyzing problems and providing solutions; plus data and statistical analysis
Strong business knowledge and experience in Supply Chain & Logistics fundamentals.
Must have experience in ERP/MRP (Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, Lawson, etc.) methodology, strategy and system integration.
Must have Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and data query skills (Brio, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.)
Aptitude to analyze discrete data to identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce the operating costs of the current and future Supply Chain (SC) network.
Must have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle many different responsibilities with detail, in a dynamic team environment.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, good negotiation skills, strong problem solving skills, facilitation, project management, and have the ability to complete projects independently or collaboratively.
