Quality Control Supervisor needed for immediate direct-hire role with our client in New Hampshire. This position entails oversight of lab operations to include technical writing, validations, testing, and increasing capabilities This position works directly with other departments to ensure timely testing and documentation in support of material and product release. This person will have direct communication with customers, suppliers and will be the main point of contact for contract labs. A high level of professionalism is required.

Lab Operations
  • Facilitate testing of raw material and product release to support production scheduling; perform in-house testing as needed
  • Explore options for increasing in-house testing capabilities by weighing frequency of testing, cost of testing (chemicals, supplies, time, storage) with cost of outside contract labs
  • Coordinate method validation/verification for in-house testing
  • Support testing for stability
  • Support cleaning validation activities and associated testing
  • Ensure adequate lab supply inventory and order as necessary
  • Manage sample and documentation flow between buildings/labs
  • Investigate and document Out of Specification results
  • Review QC documents and serve as verifier of tasks being completed
Contract Labs
  • Serve as the primary contact for outside contract labs
  • Support qualification of contract labs
  • Work with labs to expand capabilities, obtaining quotes and facilitating validations as necessary
Technical Writing
  • Write technical reports for method validation, cleaning validation, and stability protocols

This position is responsible for 1-5 direct reports

Strong knowledge of chemistry or microbiology, lab experience to include safe handling practices, proper sampling and testing methods to ensure accurate results and prevent contamination. Excellent technical writing skills. Previous supervisory experience a must.


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
