Senior Production Manager 
This direct-hire role is with our client in New Hampshire. This position is responsible for leading and directing a multi-functional team engaged in the manufacture and packaging of company products. This position emphasizes total employee involvement through team building and accountability, training and skill development, safety and quality focus, and on time delivery of product, resulting in overall customer satisfaction.

Computer Skills: 

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Two Supervisors, one team leader and two hourly employees report directly to this position. Fifty plus hourly employees report indirectly through the Supervisors to this position.
  • Monitor daily production activities and work closely with the Production Supervisors and Master Scheduler to meet production standards
  • Fulfill production schedule by assigning team members, establishing priorities, monitoring progress and resolving problems
  • Work with the Quality department to ensure that production meets the highest standard of quality.
  • Promote continuous improvement efficiency initiatives with the assistance of the Process Engineering department and production employees.
  • Work with the Maintenance Manager, and Production Supervisors to determine the need for equipment upgrades and new equipment.
  • Support Sales Department's efforts to attain new business by establishing and maintaining competitive labor rates, routings and running production trials
  • Set department goals and report on progress
  • Develop and adhere to department budget
  • Provide leadership in team building
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through performance metrics such as on time delivery, quality and cost.
  • Develop product knowledge
  • Supervise and develop production personnel 
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.  
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of related experience
