NESCO Resource is currently recruiting for a Recruiter for a 2-year contract with our client in North Tucson, (Oro Valley), Arizona. 
 
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
 
Drives the recruiting and selection process for assigned client group. Partners with hiring managers and functional human resources support in order to attract key talent for the organization. Identifies and implements efficiencies in the recruiting and selection process that align with organizational goals and requirements.  Leads corporate recruiting and staffing strategies to minimize cost per hire, maximize quality of hire, and balance with employee/customer satisfaction.  Positions will vary in level from non-exempt up to Director/VP.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Manages the full-cycle recruiting process to include: writing job descriptions, developing and implementing sourcing strategies, reviewing resumes and conducting interviews, managing the assessment and selection process, and ensuring successful onboarding.  Key emphasis on pipeline development and improving time to fill.
  • Ensures compliance with all hiring practices, as outlined by company policy and procedures and EEO/AA compliance guidelines.  Completes all reports associated with compliance.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service by partnering with all levels of management in order to make successful hiring decisions.
  • Partners with hiring managers and functional human resources on diversity recruiting to identify, communicate, and achieves Affirmative Action goals/targets. 
  • Identifies and pursues cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develops creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Communicates progress open and forecasted positions to the Talent Acquisition Manager/Director, HR Leadership and internal customer groups.
  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks to support the recruitment process including coordination of temporary employee assignments as needed.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Formal Training/Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training/education and experience. 
 
 
 
 
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in recruiting/staffing with a proven track record in filling a variety of different industries, roles, and levels.  Strong preference for candidates with at least one year of corporate recruiting experience.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be a self-starter with high energy, capable of functioning in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse populations at all levels.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as electronic applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with all facets of recruiting, having full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Solid understanding of federal, state and local equal opportunity laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain business/client relationships through effective communication and negotiation.
