Job Summary: Maintaining Master Schedule.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintains predetermined inventory of finished goods and raw material
  • Prioritize and communicate press schedules, assembly lines schedule, raw material schedules, schedule changes, delivery dates and shortages with suppliers, Customer Service and Manufacturing
  • Plans all orders for assigned areas and maintains capacity levels for same
  • Support the launch up of new items (trial scheduling, inventory control, sample order management, etc.)
  • Place orders for purchased components, packaging supplies and molded components as needed and monitor the status of these orders
  • Monitors scheduled daily to ensure load is balanced
  • Update and monitor molding and assembly production capacity
  • Ensure FG inventory is available to meet customer requirements on a daily basis
  • Monitor and manage production overload or bottlenecks effectively by utilizing additional resources, overtime or outsourcing to meet schedules
  • Compile reports for analysis on inventory, on time shipments, performance to schedules and updates inventory levels based on current data and KPI requirements
  • Assist Management developing relevant data for monthly activity reporting
  • Perform/assist cycle counting for molded and purchased comp and packaging supplies
  • Responsible for parts assigned and the Build Out inventory excess
  • Recreation trials for quality to determine the root cause of customer complaints
  • All other duties assigned

  • High school graduate required, Bachelor's degree in business, materials management or logistics preferred

  • 2 to 5 years' experience in production scheduling with strong background in forecasting, inventory analysis and demand planning
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Must have a high energy level, strong work ethics, well organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills to interact effectively with peers and Management using the English language to assure successful execution of essential functions
  • Must be able to complete comprehensive written correspondence well
  • Must be proficient enough on computer software to successfully execute essential functions: Microsoft Word, Excel (able to use the basic function like V-LOOKUP), Outlook, Oracle, and manufacturing applications: MRP/ERP
  • Possess Time management skills, problem solving and excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Must be able to occasionally travel offsite, sometimes overnight
  • Must be able to set and meet stringent deadlines while working under pressure
  • Must understand the new concept of "Critical Parts”
  • Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company
