Description/Comment:
Capital expenditure.
Contribute to market intelligence and internal demand optimization initiatives for all commodities
Participate in the Purchasing segment strategies construction and ensure accurate deployment across the Division.
Participate in the supplier selection for the Region according to criteria and ensure the utilization of the Approved Vendor List by program and plant buyers.
Build and run for the Region a Supply base convergence plan consistent with the commodity strategies.
Submit commodity QCD objectives proposal to his Regional Purchasing Director (split by Plant and by Supplier).
Manage the suppliers performance follow-up and run all necessary action plans to ensure budget targets achievement (negotiation, resourcing, VA/VE, etc.).
Actively participate in the negotiation with the main suppliers.
Support the plant for any critical issues related to Suppliers.
Prepare with the Plant Purchasing Managers and the Commodity Managers the targets for series purchasing and deploy them. Manage the commodity Managers team in the Region.
Develop and share Best Practices.
Ensure transparency and accuracy of data in the purchasing information systems.
Report on a monthly basis for his or her the commodities.
Adhere to internal procedures and statutory requirements for compliant environmental procurement and storage of all materials.
Conform him or herself with all relevant requirements of the Integrated Loss Prevention.

Additional Job Details:
Bachelor Degree in Business from a 4 year accreditated university. Former experience as a Commodity Manager or minimum 3 years experience as a Plant Buyer in an industrial environment.
Experienced working within a global matrix organization.
Results oriented with good written and oral communications skills
