System Administrator
Our client is a leading advertising media company serving the Agriculture industry and they are seeking a qualified System Administrator to join their growing "World Class” team.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for analyzing, configuring, maintaining and repairing system servers and application components. The System Administrator will perform a wide variety of installation, evaluation, configuration and upgrading of servers as well as maintain related hardware to meet the company performance and user satisfaction criteria.
The System Administrator provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software, and infrastructure. This position recognizes potential issues within the system, makes recommendations, and implements solutions for improvement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete configuration, installation, and support of Active Directory in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Design, implement, and monitor GPO policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server and desktop related issues when contacted by both internal and external customers by providing both on-site and remote support
  • Security, server updates/patching.
  • Maintain software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside customers and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
  • Maintain system backups and recovery software and disaster recovery plan
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 years of experience supporting medium sized businesses
  • 2 years of experience in system administrative role
  • Technical, analytical, interpersonal, and organization skills required
  • Administrative knowledge of Windows Servers, workstations, MS Exchange, VMware, and other various software applications
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Working knowledge of:
  • Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 or above
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Exchange Administration
