This position starts out on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.

The Electronics Technician completes PCBA repairs, reworks, diagnostics, testing and projects as needed, completed timely and with the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a thorough knowledge of manufacturing best practices, a strong knowledge of electronics, soldering skills, ability to use a meter, PCBA testing and troubleshooting skills. Recent graduates from an Electronics program are preferred!

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and assembly protocol.
  • Understand quality issues affecting final product testing and respond appropriately to improve quality metrics.
  • Understand and execute repair, rework, diagnostic, troubleshooting and testing processes.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with colleagues; work cross-functionally as needed to resolve issues and achieve mutual goals.
  • Work with production scheduler to control materials usage, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure schedule conformance.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports as needed in the course of work.
  • Adhere to safety standards at all times while enforcing safe work habits with all team members; this includes all OSHA regulations and facility safety guidelines.
  • Ability to complete manufacturing documentation as required.
Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field preferred
  • Manufacturing industry experience; preferably within a technology product manufacturing facility
  • Electronics (PCBA) experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as assigned and commit to flexible work schedule around manufacturing demand
  • Ability to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accurately
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs
  • Quality focused, strong organization skills, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time in performance of job functions
