Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for direct hire in Pittsburgh

Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with stormwater management design, including hydraulic software (Hydraflow, Pondpack, HEC-RAS, etc.)
  • The qualified individual will also have NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permitting
  • Must have experience with Erosion and Sediment Control design in Pennsylvania
  • The Civil Engineer will be working with engineers, surveyors, architects, designers, drafters, we well as other professionals
  • Abilities to prepare and/or check all calculations, reports, drawings, in addition to documents such as construction, permit, or bid packages
  • Experience or desire to become familiar with budgets and proposals
  • Knowledge of and experience with site investigation reports, which will include planning and zoning analysis
  • Working with utility research and one-call coordination, environmental & geotechnical database reviews of Pennsylvania municipalities is a huge plus
  • Construction experience including but not limited to infiltration testing, construction monitoring, RFI coordination, and shop drawing review is a preferred but not required
  • Availability for short to medium out-of-town field assignments is required

Qualifications:
  • Availability for short to medium out-of-town field assignments is required
  • Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent 
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) certification
  • PE (Professional Engineer Certification) or willingness obtain Licensure within 1 year
