Responsibilities and Duties
  • Implement and conduct a Cycle Count program
  • Coordinate and conduct year-end inventory
  • Lead all research into inventory issues and discrepancies; reconcile counts. Communicate issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to cycle count and inventory schedules
  • Develop proper inventory control procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain accurate inventories of raw materials, work in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse spaces.
  • Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct to maintain accurate physical inventories and keep and accurate record of inventories.
  • Oversee the movement and record keeping of all materials by FIFO, replenishment of bins, reworked inventory, scrap, returned material
  • Generate accurate reporting to review with Team Members and Upper Management.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments
  • Support Receiving efforts as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills
  • At least three (3) years' experience in Inventory Control, in a manufacturing / warehousing environment.
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Effective written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems; computerized warehouse management experience a plus
  • Team cooperation – works with Management and cross functional disciplines to continuously improve Inventory Control processes and practices within all operational areas
  • Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude with all employees
  • Licensed or ability to become licensed for operation of forklift and/or picker (Material Handling Equipment)
  • Perform duties in a warehouse operations environment with some physical exertion in a non climate controlled environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, move and/or carry minimum of 50 lbs.

Educational Requirements
  • A high school diploma or a general educational diploma is desired.

Work Hours
  • Their daily routine includes an eight-hour work shift. Some overtime may be required.
