Nesco Resource is currently hiring for a Direct Hire Saw Operator for our client in the Henrietta area.

The hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Essential Functions:
  1. Maximize output for any given task(s)
  2. Setup and operate equipment in order to maximize the output and quality
  3. Learn to operate all models of Band Saws and become proficient in loading and unloading the machines
  4. Learn and implement safety and maintenance of all pieces of equipment
  5. Cut product within tolerance and squareness requirements
  6. Setup machines for production runs
  7. Safely Run multiple pieces of equipment
  8.  Work to reduce the overall material used by improving production methods and improving machine capabilities
  9. Work safely; report any unsafe events
  10. Continually look for better ways of manufacturing
  11. Operate/Machine products as directed by Supervisor, Plant Managers, and/or paperwork
  12. Read job routers, prints, and other procedural documents
  13. Interpret English and/or Metric blueprints and be able to convert from/to either
  14. Perform inspections using conventional inspection equipment
  15. Write/Record inspection results
  16. Accurately record material and labor transactions
  17. Treat other manufacturing departments as customers
  18. Understand products; what they're used for, what is important, etc.
  19. Work with other employees to properly schedule job flow
  20. Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
  1. General Machining/Carpentry experience 
Education:          Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:        Minimum 2 years' experience operating manual lathe equipment
