Powder Paint Coater Machine Operator Sunday-Thursday


Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and meet the physical demands to successfully perform the essential function of this job. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or physical ability required.
Education and/or experience – High school diploma or GED preferred. Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
Language Skills – Ability to read and write. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and written.
Mathematical Skills – Basic mathematical skills are required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Welding – Have extensive knowledge of aluminum welding (Tig and Mig) from .063 to 3/8 thickness.
CAD drawings – Ability to understand and read CAD drawings
Reasoning Ability – Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration – None required for this position
Physical Requirements – The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is also required to bend, stoop and lift up to 55 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, distance, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.

  1. Set up and weld parts to weld parts to print specifications, shop order, and inspection charts.
  2. Perform at a level to maintain production standards.
  3. May be required to work at any workstation to meet production requirement.
  4. Inspect product to assure continued conformance to specifications.
  5. When required, perform rework to nonconforming product.
  6. Complete all documentation associated with the operation.
  7. Maintain the workstation area in a clean and orderly condition.
  8. May be required to train any new employee assigned to the area.
  9. Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

11.0 Show and explain the routing of the product – the next operation for the product.
12.0 Show and explain the shutdown procedure.
