Nesco Resource is currently hiring for a Direct Hire Manual CNC Grinder for our client in the Henrietta area.

The hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Essential Functions:
  • 3-5 years machining (grinding) experience on conventional or CNC equipment.
  • Advanced Blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience dressing forms in grinding wheels. (Radii/Angles)
  • Ability to set up and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines.
  • Able to design and fixture parts as necessary to complete jobs.
  • Ability/Availability to work overtime in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, comparators, CMM experience a plus.
  • Shop math skills. (strong trigonometry)
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to allow proper communication between co-workers and management.
  • Ability to work to metric dimensions.
  • Experience with Lean and ISO systems.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Setup and run various grinding jobs within given time requirements.
  • Setup and run concurrent jobs on multiple machines when necessary.
  • Perform inspection to ensure good quality.
  • Run production grinding work.
  • Work extra hours required to maintain customer delivery requirements.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance routines on grinding equipment.


REQUIREMENTS

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3-5 years machining (grinding) experience on conventional or CNC equipment.
