NESCO Resource is currently recruiting for a Project Manager Associate for a contract opportunity for our client in Oro Valley.

Manages project information to support decision making, planning, execution and tracking of Scientific Affairs Companion Diagnostics projects. Assists with project management for general Scientific Affairs activities as required.


Manages project information to support decision-making, planning, execution and tracking of Scientific Affairs activities:
Supports Companion Diagnostic MET Scientific Affairs activities, including training, access programs, studies, publications;
Coordinates interactions and requests from teams, Regional/Affiliate Diagnostics teams and Pharma teams;
Coordinates all regulatory/legal requirements and ensure full compliance with all activities;
Develops and maintains Scientific Affairs Sharepoint site;
Manages meeting agendas, logistics and minutes.
Tactical coordination of timelines/budgets for all projects and functions within Scientific Affairs: 
Manages execution of cross-functional plans and track of progress of activities;
Develops tracking systems and databases;
Plans resources and budgets;
Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays and challenges assumptions;
Manages risks including critical path, risk assessment, scenario creation and analysis;
Proposes options to close gaps and ensure projects completed on schedule;
Serves as single point of control for project data (collects from functions/finance; owns version management and release of changes);
Compiles and communicate project reports;
Defines, measures and reports key performance indicators to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
Guides team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and optimization; fosters continuous improvement.
Supports general Scientific Affairs activities as required


Formal Training/Education:

Minimum (required): BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred: Master's degree.
Life Sciences field of study.
Specific Project Management training and/or certification.


Minimum (required): 4 years project management and/or product development experience
Preferred: Experience in research & development

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrates successful problem solving and coordination of project related activities.
Written and oral communication skills required. Knowledge of MS Project and MPM.
Previous experience with standard project management process (PMI) desired.
Strong negotiation and meeting facilitation skills.
- Diagnostic and/or Pharmaceutical industry and relevant diagnostic area knowledge.
Ability to manage complex projects with ambitious milestones in high pressure circumstances.
Ability to manage and experience with projects that required activity/milestone achievement to launch the product.
Ability to and experience of challenging management in relation to data and resources.
Good understanding of the Diagnostic Design Control process.
