The Systems Implementation and Integration Analyst position provides technical support for selected modules of our Banner Enterprise software. The individual is expected to maintain adequate understanding of software technology/function, operational procedures and software vendor support procedures. The analyst is expected to recognize and overcome technical challenges associated with process improvement ideas, and suggest improvement opportunities to users. This analyst will deploy a mix of solutions that includes 3rd party software to create an effective systems architecture to support client needs. Work will involve a mix of technical tasks, communication and coordination between our customers and outside vendors, and process improvement knowledge to support client needs.
Education required to ensure success in this position:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, required
Experience required to ensure success in this position:
  • At least two years' experience in systems development working with larger enterprise systems and third-party applications or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
Special skills, knowledge and abilities:
  • Knowledge of Ellucian Banner or other academic enterprise software, preferred
  • Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and UNIX, preferred
  • Experience integrating outside applications (including cloud-based systems) with internal enterprise systems byestablishing data connectivity and single sign-on capacity when applicable to support seamless/intuitive access to these systems from our campus portal and mobile apps
