Extruder Technicians needed for immediate openings with our client in the Nashua NH area. Openings on both day and night shifts available (Monday – Thursday 5am to 5pm / Monday – Thursday 5pm to 5am). Eight (8) hours of guaranteed over-time a week. Candidates interested should have at least 2 years' of experience working in a plastic extrusion, coating, or blow molding environment.

Job Description
• Perform a variety of duties to prepare and operate extruder in accordance with product spec sheet.
• Read and understand product spec sheet. Inspect raw material quality and monitor quality throughout run. Work from product spec sheet, written or verbal instructions.
• Plan sequence of operation for a variety of first time and repeat products.
• Use hand tools, small power tools, tape measures, micrometers, scales, gauges, roll handling equipment, etc.
• Set up machine for proper warm-up and start up procedures.
• Maintain and understand control panels, display monitor, inline gauge and all other in process systems.
• Set up and perform operations including inventory verification, proper extrusion method, finished width, appearance and material gauge.
• Complete extruding run, package and store material properly. Check with process control or department supervisor for proper storage of material.
• Perform all specification requirements for testing and sampling.
• Maintain established quality and quantity standards.
• Maintain daily production and product spec records as required and return completed forms to the production office at the end of each day.
• Label and store all in process and finished samples in an orderly manner. All raw materials should be labeled & stored properly.
• Work with lab and business unit managers to develop new products and processes.

Qualifications and Training Requirements
• Minimum education High School diploma. Some secondary or vocational training, or equivalent experience desired.
• Basic reading and math skills sufficient to allow accurate execution of Product Specifications and procedures.
