We are now hiring 1st shift Welders in East Freetown, MA
Hours ~ Monday-Friday 5:00am-3:00pm (Fridays are mandatory, overtime included in hours)
Pay rate $15.00 hr


The Welder will visually review a robotic welded product for defects and repair these defects utilizing both TIG and MIG welding practices and equipment.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible to insure good welding practices are adhered to.
  • Inspects completed piece to insure it meets all quality standards and specifications.
  • Communicates with fellow workers and superiors to maintain safety and quality.
  • Suggests production and quality improvement ideas to the Supervisor.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Responsible for housekeeping in assigned work areas.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures by wearing all safety personal protective equipment "PPE” to maintain a safe work environment at all times.


Basic understanding of proper welding practices utilizing both TIG and MIG welding
The knowledge of what is and is not a proper weld join. Vocational experience accepted with TIG & MIG welding.

  • High School Diploma or GED with technical training preferred.
  • Ability to operate bending and welding and punching equipment required.
  • Certificates: Welding ASME required.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule as required.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in all situations.
  • Minimum three (3) years welding experience of similar and bi-metals

Physical Demands – Ability to reach and use arms, hands and fingers. Ability to hear and smell.
Weight Limitations – Up to 50 lbs.
Vision Requirements – Close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment – Moderate Noise Conditions. Work in areas that may be noisy and dirty. Work in ambient temperatures ranging from very cold to very hot. Some exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Interaction with electric, gas and vibrating equipment. Ability to perform both indoor and outdoor tasks requiring continuous physical activity, sometimes of a strenuous nature.
Personal, Protective Equipment - Ability to wear safety glasses, welding helmet, gloves, and other job related personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
