Position Title: Branch Manager
Reports To: Vice President, Area Vice President or Area Manager
Summary of Position
As the branch leader, the Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch. Managers will be focused on leading sales, recruiting, and administrative team members, managing the branch P&L, achieving financial budgets and forecasts, driving new sales growth, cultivating existing customer relationships, and marketing company services. The Branch Manager will perform in accordance with Nesco Resource's Mission, Vision and Shared Values.
Primary Responsibilities ¿ Provides leadership and manages, coaches, mentor, train branch team members to perform to their full potential, thus driving branch growth and profitability.
¿ The Manager will conduct regular weekly meetings regarding current branch performance metrics including measuring sales and recruiting activity.
¿ Works with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to source and hire appropriate staff members.
¿ Directly implement the onboarding process for new staff hires.
¿ Manage P&L for branch, meeting budgeted sales, expense and BOP goals.
¿ Primary trainer of branch sales and service teams
¿ Efficient in using the software tools provided to support the business, i.e. JobDiva, Tempserve along with other payroll services, NescoNet, along with any new programs introduced. This includes routine use, along with reporting and using dashboards as a management tool.
¿ Oversees and directly implements the requirements of the branch from the Risk Management department.
¿ Ensure the staff is trained and is using the assigned tools and programs.
¿ Act as sales manager to business developer to drive new business development, through personal sales efforts and the management of Business Development managers within the office.
¿ Nurture strong business partnerships by providing exceptional customer service and implementing customer development and retention strategies.
¿ Resolve issues of temporary associates.
¿ Talk with civic, social, and other local groups to provide information about branch services.
¿ Forecast and manages performance associated with budgets and annual business plans
¿ Work with Human Resource department to perform HR Management tasks including counseling, terminations as needed for staff and contract employees. Report all DOL, EEO or harassment issues to Human Resources ASAP.
¿ Complies with all Company safety guidelines and processes. Reports known safety issues, including near misses, accidents and potential concerns to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department
¿ Ensures and provides leadership and role modeling related to the Company's Ethics Policy.
Successful Candidate Attributes:
¿ Bachelors or Associates Degree
¿ Minimum of 5 years' managerial experience ¿ Minimum of 5 years staffing experience (5 or 2)
¿ Excellent interpersonal communication ability
¿ Strong customer service skills and business ethics
¿ Excellent organizational and time management skills
¿ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
¿ Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Package, Word, Excel
¿ Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
¿ Able to handle multiple problems simultaneously
¿ Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws
¿ Able to operate various pieces of office equipment including but not limited to computer, keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier and phones as required by position
¿ Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills
¿ Must be able to operate well in a team environment
¿ Must be able to travel to customers to handle any paperwork needed
¿ Able to continuously improve processes and procedures
