The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and support of custom software solutions, enhancement of existing business systems and the support and development of the MES system and interfaces.
  • Create, modify and support business system software
  • Create, modify and support software interfaces to the corporate MES and ERP systems
  • Design, implement and execute tests validating the interaction of systems
  • Document requirements of system components and interfaces
  • Work with internal customers to understand business systems needs and provide appropriate software solutions
  • Evaluate software and hardware technology as requested
  • Provide technical consultation to other internal groups
Act as a backup to internal IT staff for services and operations
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline
 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, SQL, C#, object-oriented design, software development life cycle, strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Camstar preferred
  • Experience with ASP.NET development
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects
  • Familiarity with networking, databases, Windows, and enterprise resource planning terms and concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud based systems, Data Warehousing, ETL and decision support systems
  • Background in software development
Minimum six (6) years of experience, databases, business systems and/or reporting software
