JOB SUMMARY
Desktop Support position supports the installation and management of hardware, software, and networking components to meet the company's operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provides both remote and on-site technical support by troubleshooting and resolving computing issues around hardware, software, network connectivity, access control, printers, unified communications, and related accessories.
  • Support desktop operations with procurement, onboarding/offboarding employees, assigning rights and access controls, resetting passwords, establishing email addresses, asset management, and reporting.
  • Resolves facilities operational issues by contacting and managing external vendors while keeping management up to date on problems and resolutions.
  • Acts as liaison between users and Information Technology to promote and integrate information services through communication, cooperation and collaboration.
  • Escalates unresolved problems to the appropriate personnel to ensure the overall quality of service delivery is always maintained.
  • Follow-up to ensure that the service was performed successfully.
  • Prepares and maintains required reports, records, logs and files for operational, administrative and compliance purposes
Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+ Certification or MCP Certification
  • Proven work experience in a desktop technical support environment
  • Hands-on experience with Windows computing environments.
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, LANS/WANS, Windows servers, office automation products, computer peripherals, and best security practices.
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
  • Requires 24x7 incident response.
