A Technical Writer is required for a global payments organization. The Technical Writer will play a key role in the development and upkeep of new and existing documentation which supports training programs for internal and external customer groups. Focused on new and emerging products and services, the Technical Writer will work with strategic partners and stakeholders to build a thorough understanding of localized documentation needs across the aligned region. Focus will be on both the technical and functional aspects of the product, creating documentation that will directly support the delivery of training.

Further duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Creation, ownership and on-going management of documentation which directly supports the Enterprise Payments Solutions training delivery both to internal staff and Clients. Such documentation will include delivery scripts, hands-on scenario production, and Quality Assurance testing procedures
  • Continuous gap analysis to confirm that the documentation and training scenarios meet the requirements of all end users
  • Regularly engage with relevant Subject Matter Experts and Product Managers to ensure new functionality is documented and included within training demonstrations and scenarios
  • Ensure that content and style is standardized across all relevant training and testing entities
  • Gather, collate, analyse and act upon feedback from end users of the documentation
  • Recommend best practice and ease of use to Product Managers and all relevant staff, aimed at maximizing Product efficiency

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • Extensive experience in designing and producing technical support documentation, ideally within Technology and/or banking and especially aimed at the support of training delivery
  • Ability to turn complex instructions and procedures into readily accessible language
  • Outstanding communicator who builds and develops relationships
  • Previous experience in stakeholder management
  • Ability to work unsupervised, with strong self-motivation skills
  • An enthusiastic individual with a desire to learn
  • Knowledge of XML Mind or other XML editing tools is desirable
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office suite with a passion for technology
  • Payments experience (e.g. Fedwire and/or SWIFT.) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
