PThe Project Leader will be responsible for the leadership of
Flow & Process Technologies Valve Projects to ensure
operational excellence throughout the OTR (Order to
Remittance) execution phases responsible for meeting
quality, technical, commercial, cost and schedule
objectives.
In the role of Project Leader, you will:
  • Be the primary customer contact
  • Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage
    correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure
    customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate as
    appropriate
  • Manage the financial performance of assigned the
    project or components
  • Ensure on-time delivery in accordance with contract
  • Manage project risk issues including receivables, claims,
    contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective
    project closeout
  • Lead the project team through contract reviews to
    identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational
    performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates
    corrective action where appropriate
  • Be responsible for managing OTR matrix teams including
    Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Services
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an
    ac credited college or university (OR High School Diploma /
    Client D from an accredited school or institution and a
    minimum 7 years of experience in a project management,
    engineering or manufacturing role)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project
    management, engineering or manufacturing role
 
Desired Characteristics:
 
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Project, Construction, Field Engineering and / or
    Contract Management experience in Power or Oil & Gas
    industry
  • Motivated, self-starter
  • Technical knowledge of product lines and associated
    systems
  • Microsoft suite proficiency
  • SixSigma training OR equivalent Quality T raining (Client
    Employees ONLY)Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage
    a matrix team / organization
  • Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies / remedies
  • Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
