Position Title:  Senior Algorithms Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and development novel algorithms 
  • Model and analyze systems and algorithms for research and internal review
  • Analyze product requirements, and plan and estimate development activities
  • Identify hardware processing needs to meet algorithm execution requirements
  • Develop innovative algorithm solutions to satisfy requirements
  • Develop and execute test plans for unit testing; and work closely with the system test team to insure the delivery of high quality design
  • Interact with team members from other disciplines to complete project deliverables, solve problems and to report status

  • Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Proven ability to drive innovation in the engineering conceptualization stages by pushing technology limits while balancing feasibility criteria such as manufacturability, cost, technology risk, implementation schedule.
  • A broad view and understanding of the product development process, and effective experience leading multi-disciplined team efforts in the evolution of products from concept through testing, verification and approval
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • BS or MS in Electrical/Biomedical or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Electrical/Firmware/Algorithm Engineering role involving the design and development of algorithms and software 
  • Understanding of firmware development and resource limitations
  • Experience in the development of embedded firmware of micro-controllers, including design, test and debugging is a plus
