The RRIC will be responsible for the following:

Coordinate the recruitment and retention of quality associates. Also, work closely with senior executives to establish organizational messages that are consistent with company's strategic vision and ensure that associates are well-informed, motivated and engaged in company initiatives.
Recruitment/Retention Responsibilities:
1. Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
2. Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans tailored to specific locations including remote job sites.
3. Develops and maintains professional relationships with high school, college and community group (e.g. church, social organization) placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
4. Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees.
5. Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
6. Provides potential applicants and new hires with information on company history, core values, company operations and job opportunities.
7. Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
8. Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.
9. Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics.
10. Comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures, be an example, and support the company safety goals and objectives.
Internal Communications Responsibilities:
1. Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers and adjust the communication plan as needed.
2. Work with people at every level, keeping them informed of positive developments in the company and building understanding around company challenges.
3. Advise executives and managers on their role in effective internal communication and help them maintain a positive relationship with employees.
4. Ensure that internal communication messages are consistent with the Evans brand/external message, across all mediums, for all divisions/departments and at every remote office location.
5. Manage social media platforms.
