PURPOSE:
Prospect, present, close and acquire new healthcare laundry rental customers to long-term (3-5 year) service agreements. Work collaboratively with service and operational leaders to ensure new customer accounts are set up appropriately. Necessary to operate with strong business acumen, maintain a high level of professionalism, be a team player while exhibiting strong sales skills and intellect. Build a robust sales pipeline with ample prospects at various stages of the sales cycle necessary to maintain an acceptable new sales result.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Maintain database while developing new accounts and following up with potential customers.
  • Provide potential customer with quotes of the costs of products or services.
  • Cold calling of potential customers.
  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers.
  • Inform customers of available options for uniforms, and provide samples.
  • Obtain and study information about potential customer's products, needs, problems, and business practices to offer effective sales presentations and appropriate product assistance.
  • Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and training seminars to gather information, promote products, expand network of contacts, and increase knowledge.
  • Gather all relevant material for bid processes, and coordinate bidding and contract approval

  • Good driving record.
