Description/Comment:
Manage and contribute to projects (Process Engineering/ Product Engineering) through complete life cycle including Concept, Design, Development, and Implementation.
Collaborate with various functions to conceptualize, write and execute Capital Projects.
Design manufacturing/ assembly cells – layout, capacity, material handling, equipment selection using Engineering and lean principles
Design and develop equipment, tooling, jigs and fixtures.
Support New Programs Engineering activities (Welding & Paint) as needed
Achieve project milestone timing and objectives for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
Research, Develop, and Implement new processes and technologies as required by product design and business objectives.
Support deployment of Corporate initiatives / Compliance activities
Analyze, Test, and Execute countermeasures by utilizing problem solving methodologies.
Proven ability to achieve project objectives leading cross functional teams.
Understand and Practice Lean Manufacturing concepts in the business and manufacturing environments.
Communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently at all levels inside and outside the organization.

Essential:
5 ~ 7 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, with demonstrated proficiency in; CNC Programming, Process, Tool, and Gage Design and Implementation; Computer skills with Microsoft Office products and AutoCad

Desirable:
5 ~ 7 years experience in an automotive machining environment with demonstrated excellence and creativity in the items above, and experience in; Automation Design for Material Handling and Gaging, Machine Tool Selection, and Creo 3D modeling "

Additional Job Details:
Must have welding experience
