Primary Objective Responsible for ensuring all benefit plans are administered correctly and efficiently, while adhering to regulatory, collective bargaining and corporate deadlines.
Basic function
Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of the group benefit programs
Responsibilities • Process employee health insurance enrollments COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDRO's, distributions, loans, hardships, compliance testing, census requests • Reconcile benefit program invoices • Answer employee questions regarding benefits and coverage • Audit benefit deductions and remittances. • Track disability leave (FMLA and Sickness & Accident) • Research and resolve employee issues with insurers. • Vacation tracking • Process Probationary Employee Evaluations • Provide back-up to payroll processing. • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Experience/Education • High school graduate
